Who we are
We’re three friends who took very different career paths—one in textiles, another in mechanical engineering, and the third in electronics. But fate had a funny way of bringing us back together. Over countless coffee-fueled chats and brainstorms, we realized our diverse skills could create something amazing. Disha having textile background, she was able to identify a gap in fabrics used in hospital industry. Textiles in the form of bedsheets, scrubs and gowns are one of the mediums that causes Hospital Acquired Infections (HAIs). This problem made her think of using Antimicrobial Technology in fabrics to control the spread of HAIs. And just like that, our business in Anti-microbial textiles was born! From friends to business partners, we’re on a mission to make the world a little safer and a lot more comfortable.
Supporting her idea Hetul joined as a partner and both started PROFAB in 2020 as an Antimicrobial Service Provider company.
History
Before the company could take its first step COVID pandemic hit. We decided to help our community with our antimicrobial fabrics. We cut our bedsheet to make masks for the local police and it was so loved by them and other people around, we started getting orders and ultimately, we sold around 50 thousand masks.
In the delicate balance between serving hospitals, hotels, and retail, 2022 brought a profound shift to our journey. Hetul, anticipating the joy of fatherhood as his wife expected, was driven by a newfound sense of protection for the unborn baby. In planning the safest environment for his unborn child, a gap in the market caught our attention.
After thorough study and research, it became evident that there was a notable absence of safety in designing baby clothing, most brands focus on aesthetics. It was this realization that birthed the idea of PROFAB Baby – An antimicrobial newborn clothing line designed to provide the safest and healthiest start for infants.
The response exceeded our expectations, and we are proud to announce that we now cater to a growing family of 1200+ customers. It’s not just about clothing; it’s about creating a cocoon of safety and comfort for the newest additions to your family.
